Who we are
Pickle and Ginger was formed in early 2016. We are Amanda and Charlotte Cross, a mother and daughter team. Charlotte lives and works in London as a scenic artist and Amanda lives in the beautiful Dorset countryside with a workshop full of flowers in an old coach house overlooking the garden for inspiration.

Charlotte is an experienced and accomplished artist having had work exhibited in several galleries and art exhibitions, including The Mall Gallery London. She has a First Class honours degree in art from Guildhall School London.
Specialising in signwriting and calligraphy she loves designing unique wedding stationery, getting to know her brides and weaving their ideas and personality into her designs. Alongside Pickle and Ginger she works as a freelance scenic artist charlotte_scenic. www.charlottecrossscenic.com

Amanda has been a hobby artist and printmaker for many years. After leaving her career as a field teacher she enjoys anything that connects her with the outdoors especially gardening. In more recent years she retrained with the The Cambridge Flower School, becoming a qualified florist. She now enjoys arranging with dried flowers that she grows in her garden and feels they hold a special delicacy once dried which enhances their beauty and has the added advantage of being long lasting.
